KIP reinvents the process of printing posters
KIP presents for the first time in Europe the KIP Color 80 equipped with its new online cutter, the KIPCut.
This cutting solution in X and Y (vertical and horizontal axis) provides real value to this unique large-format color laser printer on the market.
In fact, with a print speed at 210 m / hour on a wide range of media, the KIP Color 80 is now able to produce posters of different sizes, with no white border.
This digital solution is therefore presented as a new alternative, particularly for printers that use the offset technology for which production of posters is often time consuming and requires a shaping.
The new cutter KIPCut has the following features:
- Automatic cutting sizes from 29.7 cm to 91.4 cm
- Automatic alignment of the knives on the edges of the printed image for perfect prints
- Cutting thickness up to 0.5 mm
- Wide range of supported media: plain pape, photo paper, adhesive film, backlite, etc...
- Direct access to key functions from the interactive panel
Thanks to the KIP Color 80 equipped with the KIPCut:
- There is no more creation needed and no needed plates calibraton
- The shaping is eliminated: the posters are automaticaly cutted on the 4 sides
- Prints are ready to send, without the need of labor or special finishing tools
- This solution is ideal to meet the demands of small and medium series
